VP of Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence

With over 30 years of leadership experience in metals manufacturing, Gunars Vinkels brings operational and management expertise as Alloy Holdings' Vice President of Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence. With a proven track record focused on operational efficiency and customer satisfaction, Gunars drives optimal results in a culture of teamwork, quality, and integrity. He collaborates closely with each of the Alloy Holdings Engineering and Operations teams to spearhead value-creation projects that fuel the company's strategic growth.
 
Gunars began his career as a manufacturing engineer at Brainin Advance Industries and held increasing positions of responsibility, eventually becoming the Vice President of Operations. After Precision Engineered Products acquired Brainin, he continued leading the division through its sale to NN Inc. in 2015 and ultimately served as Interim Chief Operating Officer. While at NN Inc., he oversaw restructuring efforts in the Power Solutions global business unit, and he was vital in improving the company's performance, operational efficiency, and customer commitment in strategic international markets.
 
Gunars holds a BS in Manufacturing Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MS in Manufacturing Engineering from UMASS, Lowell. In his free time, Gunars enjoys golfing, skiing, and spending time with his family at the beach in Rhode Island.
